I've got one of your gorgeous Teepees and my little boy loves it so much there's no way I could get away with only having it out in the garden! It's up in his bedroom and we read stories in there before bedtime. It's one of my most favourite toys let alone his and we've created so many lovely memories in it! The first properly friendly interactions between my son (4) and my daughter (1) happened in it too! He'd crawl in and she'd follow him - he'd crawl out and she'd follow him again... ahhhh... thank you so much for memories like that. We love When I Was a Kid! :)

When I was a kid I climbed the trees in our garden, played rounders with the family, built dens near the old railway line, camped out in basement of my friends parents shop and spent lots of time on the beach. When I was a kid I would go stickleback fishing and catching frogs in the cattle grid. When I was a kid I was brave and I knew how to have fun without being so serious!! When did I grow up?

I remember going 'brook jumping' with my friends. We'd jump over all these little streams in this big field near our houses. It was fab. I remember getting told off once for falling in one wearing my new trainers! xx

The places are never quite as exciting as they seemed when you were a kid, we had an orchard at the back of our house and it became anything from our fort to a submarine... and it was just a bunch of apple trees :)

I pretty sure all the summers were long days of hot sunshine and each winter it snowed! We use to spend the days down at the river where I now take my kids building dams and dens. Either that or going to friend and grass sledging down their hill!

I just loved being outdoors so that would be bikes, camps, climbing trees and roaming our cul-de-sac as a gang. We were the "sharks" and the street next door the "dolphins". We seemed to spend the whole of the holidays raiding each others "camps" and planning their demise! also loved British Bulldog, 40/40 and stuck in the mud......

*nostaligic* it's why my kids aren't allowed DS's or Xboxes!
